I once had a therapist tell me that comparing myself to others was a sure path to misery. While I think it's human nature, I also think it's hugely important to recognize it, rationalize it, and then chill right on out. I, like most people (probably), struggle with it on a daily basis. However, the older I get, the less I seem to care and the more I focus on just doing whatever makes me happy. I guess this one can be filed under "Lifelong Journey" with all of the other tough stuff.
